The R&D work of the “Medical Biotechnology” center is market oriented and targets two main areas:

  • The development of kits for the diagnosis of certain types of cancer, inflammatory and infectious diseases;
  • The establishment of a biotechnological platform for the production of biosimilars.

  • Diagnostic kits: development of the first Moroccan kits at competitive prices for the diagnosis of cancers, inflammatory and infectious diseases in Morocco.
  • Bio-medicines: establishment of the first innovative biotechnological platform for the production of biosimilars medicines.
  • Animal Feed: Screening and improvement of phosphate based animal feed.
  • Animals and plants diagnostics: detection of specific diseases.
  • Enzymes development: Textile application.
  • Food industry: detection of food contamination.
